Deal, Kent

Happy Friday -  we've made it through another week - whoop! I meant to share these photo's last week but it wasn't a good one so here they are today.

A few weekends ago I tootled down the M20 to spend the weekend with my best girls. We went to Deal, Kent for a few days and had such a good time - loads of laughing, eating, drinking and dancing. If you've been reading this blog for a while you'll know how much I love a sea-side town especially when all the tourists have gone for the summer. My friend found this perfect apartment - allotment apartments - right on the high street and really close to the sea. The weather was patchy but by the time six of us and a baby had got ready and eaten brunch we'd missed the rain and the sun came out - fab!

Deal is such a pretty place, all sherbet coloured cottages, weather beaten fishermen's huts and a two castles! We headed to Walmer Castle for a cream tea and a wander round the gorgeous gardens, deciding that we'd turned really old. Nevermind, we reverted back to our younger selves by the evening - mixed a few potent cosmopolitans and danced to our own very special play list. Some photo's aren't for sharing here so I'll leave you with these pretties instead, have a great weekend everyone! x
